Creativity sparks in a free mind
I'm delighted to share with you my first article in English published in a foreign magazine. The short icebreaking intro was not included in the edited version. It's my first standupish attempt in content writing and I thought it would be fun to keep it in my blog version.
"Hello, women of the ERA. My name is Paula Vasile and I’m Romanian. Our countries are very far from each other on the map, but I’m sure I can find some warming up things that we have in common. Let me think ... I know! Both Romania and Australia sound feminine. And quite melodious, I might add.
Plus … Wait, that’s a huge one! I personally know someone who married an Australian. The friend of a friend, who has recently moved to Bulgaria. It gets too international, I know, and I don’t want to confuse you or get you into a 'mappy' mood. Maps can be so hard to understand! For me, at least. Given my vague sense of orientation, the cardinal points are one of the mysteries of the world. Well, four of the mysteries of the world. [There are four cardinal points, aren’t there?]
Luckily, virtual communication melts boundaries. I had the chance to get in touch with Sonya Murphy, found out about ERA Magazine, fell in love with it and wanted to become a contributor."
