About me
Words have fascinated me forever. I was an early talker, with tons of verbal energy yearning to be consumed. Excitedly. Logical and sensitive at the same time, I kept feeding my eagerness to explore, while cheerfully grasping myriads of things of the marvelous world around me.
When having to make a choice from so many interests, I went for the one that thrilled me the most. My love and sense of words, meanings and a certain music and texture within and in between. I became a philologist, academically trained in foreign languages and literatures - English and French.
I've been a certified translator and interpreter for more than 20 years and this was my basic profession for quite a long time. I had my own company and working at my own relaxed pace brought me much joy and fantastic multicultural experiences.
When I became a mother, I took a long break and dedicated myself to raising my son. While cheerfully helping him to decipher the world, his exuberance in exploring and questioning everything he could grasp made me long for discoveries. Or redescoveries.
There is so much knowledge that we absorb with age, whether we want it or not! Why not put it to work in redefining our professional selves as well?
So here I am, expanding and enjoying my abilities, as a freelance content writer, an informal educator and a creativity coach for children.
